Surprisingly, I have never been here. I came here with a friend of mine for happy hour and ended up ordering food not on the happy hour menu. The food was flavorful and filling. Our server Jayla was top notch. Not only was she very friendly, she was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. I'm glad I finally came here. I will be coming back.

Amazing cocktails and delicious lobster roll. Food and drink very solid. Very good bartender. From that quality alone, I will return While waiter had a lovely personality, Service was kind of lousy regarding wait times(repeated drink orders and food). Every request took 20 minutes including closing out. While bar was 80-85% occupied, outdoor dining area where I was seated was at roughly 65%. Recommend to staff up on Thursdays through the weekend.

I'm not gonna lie to you. It should be illegal for this food to be that good. The view is that view and the ambience is on point come here with friends or a dates. you're welcome.

I recently visited Loch Bar in Baltimore and had a fantastic experience. The location is situated along the water with both indoor and outdoor seating options. I imagine the the outdoor seating is particularly enjoyable when the weather is nice, offering a beautiful view and a pleasant atmosphere. For my meal, I ordered the crabcake with hush puppies as my side, which I upgraded for an additional four dollars. I also tried the frosé, one of their frozen alcoholic beverages, which was recommended to me. The frosé was so delicious that I would definitely get it again and highly recommend it to others. What I loved the most is that it still stayed flavorful and juicy as you sipped it and as it melted slightly. You weren't left with flavorless ice at the end like other restaurant. Instead the frosé was flavorful the whole time. Loch Bar has an vast seafood menu, ensuring there's plenty to choose from for seafood lovers. The bar area is well-stocked and adds to the overall lively ambiance of the place. The service was definitely above average and I really appreciated my waiter who was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind.

I chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and had decent reviews, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service offered to us here. Fortunately for us, we managed to snag a table outside (next to the water) right before sunset and so the vibes were immaculate. We ordered: * Local Oysters - 8/10: some of the varieties were really small, but most tasted delicious and fresh * Scallop Ceviche - 5/10: small portion and disappointing flavor, sounds much better on paper * Fried Oysters - 9/10: can't go wrong with a delicious fried oyster on top of a mayo-based sauce * Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass - 9/10: super tender fish on a bed of delicious accompaniments * Crab Cakes - 10/10: I absolutely adore crab cakes and these were super meaty * Fish and Chips - 8/10: very thickly fried fish that was quite tender * Hushpuppies - 7/10: just your typical hushpuppy We also ordered the soup, but it was WAY too salty and so the server was kind enough to refund that for us. Overall, with lovely vibes, immaculate service, and great seafood, Loch Bar is a great place for a meal if you're in the area!

Our waiter was very amicable and attentive while suggesting different items on the menu. The local oysters were some of the freshest, tastiest I'd had and I loved the bouncy seared scallops. The restaurant itself had more of a bar atmosphere with many customers coming for drinks. Overall, I enjoyed our lunch here and would definitely come back for more oysters and drinks!

My view of the best crab cake? Maximum fresh blue crab, minimum filler. Loch Bar - Jackpot! My wife and I looked forward to our visit to Baltimore to find fresh mussels and crab. Loch Bar fully succeeded with both. Let's start with the crab cakes (two large cakes per order, perfect for sharing). I've never had cakes that were virtually all crab. Seriously, how did they manage to sear and serve these without them falling apart? The WonderBra of crab cakes, there was no visible means of support. Just delicious bites of fresh, sweet, lightly fried blue crab. My wife and I agreed this was one of the best single dishes we've had in a very long time. We began our meal with the Moules-Frites; the fresh mussels were steamed and served in a white wine sauce. So good! We also had the Fish N' Chips. The fish was crunchy, thick, moist, tasty and yes, fresh. Did I say that my wife and I loved our meal? I'm still dreaming of these crab cakes. But one warning, Loch Bar is not inexpensive. This is a splurge. Loch Bar is part of the Four Seasons Hotel. Fresh crab cakes are pricey everywhere these days and Loch Bar, well, you're going to pay extra for the quality. But I highly recommend.

I had a pretty average experience at Loch Bar the other night. The food was phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. We had hush puppies, Parker house rolls, cream of crab soup, and crab grilled cheese. It was a great choice of food for a cold winter day, and the food could have easily just been heavy and cheesy but was all very well balanced. The food was all really beautiful too. Unfortunately the service was not what I expected for a high end restaurant. Our server was often at the other side of the restaurant having side conversations. The host spent a lot of time on the phone. We ended up waiting a while at points, and overall I just didn't think anyone was paying a lot of attention. The only exception was the bar staff, which were all amazing and very friendly. I'd like to come back in the summer and give Loch Bar another chance, and hopefully it was just an off day with service.

While I've been to Bygone a few times I never knew that its sister restaurant Loch Bar was right downstairs! Both owned and managed by Atlas Restaurant Group and both located in the Four Seasons Hotel, the Loch Bar was an unexpected treat. A weekday lunch with the girls was a good look. Everything was good from start to finish. Jessica our server was awesome and had the absolute best recommendations. Starting with the Fried Oysters, that you can never go wrong with, then ending with the Crab Grilled Cheese was definitely the way to go! A grilled cheese with Gruyère, Gouda, bacon, tomato and big lumps of crab?!?! I will never go back to eating a regular smegular grilled cheese ever again!! What a great, more relaxed alternative to the Bygone with the same great food and service.
